hi! pls comment on how this build will work for vanqing! ,, if its bad and stuff pls tell me why and recommend me skills to change ^^ i dun have much money and all new skills cost 1k so.. not too many >.<

Swap the weapon spells for [Heart of fury] and [Aura Of Holy Might]

12+1+1 Scythe, 12+1 Mysticism

(I would take AoM instead of AoL)

I would have a hero cast [splinter weapon] on me and put the attrib points from channeling magic to mysticism and scythe mastery instead.

Also, depending on the area you are vanquishing, you might want to bring [avatar of dwayna] or [avatar of melandru] instead of [avatar of lyssa].

I would also bring [victorious sweep] and [heart of fury]

Also, if you have Eotn, consider taking some PvE only skills, like [Great Dwarf Armor] or [Asuran scan]

but is it possible to continue using weapon spell on myself? i dun like to count on heroes for that.. cause it depends on the senario and stuff.. and btw.. i play with my friends and their heroes dun have that skill ^^

Well, of course you can use splinter weapon on yourself, but I think it might be far less effective than done by a hero, besides, you have to put some well needed attribute points to channeling magic.

If your friend's heroes do not have splinter weapon, take one of yours. Olias or Master of Whispers as N/Rt can do the job perfectly.

As everyone has said try and drop the weapon spells off on a hero.

Since no one else has said anything about weapons in particular I'll have a go. Try and find a Zealous scythe if you aren't using one already. A 15^enchanted would be perfect since FI will(should) be up the majority of the time. The back end is really up to you, +30hp is probably the most common.

hmm in PvE [avatar of grenth (PvE)] is pretty nice, It steals health (the pve version, dont know how to put in pve so...) which is pro :P next to that, [heart of fury] is so gd you cant forget it, just check some skill trainers and many have it

EDIT:

If a skill has a PvE/PvP split, put [ skill name (PvE) ] w/o the spaces between brackets to get the PvE variant to show.

until the patch came out AoG was basicly useless.... and if u're talking about vampiric making it better for pve, yes it did, but still not much...
Dwayna does the work better than grenth... but thats just my way of viewing
Balthazar still continues to be my pve favourite and in my opinion the best avatar for pve. U want heal? derv has tons os healing skills way better than grenths vampiric such as mystic reg.
I play a derv and health is never a problem to me. Got heal by my enchants and by my health reg. + the extra armor balthazar gives its a great survival mettod.
But thats just me and i never found grenth to be much usefull and definitly not a PRO skill just because it has vampiric

Avatar of Balthazar is a wasted Elite slot, to be honest. IMS and armor? You can get that with other skills and save your Elite for a better Avatar or an Elite Attack skill.

err.. actually i was using AoB ater using AoL cause my character kept dying.. AoB actually kept me alive a lot more and since avatars last longer i think its a good skill and not a waste.. but i wanna use AoL cause of more dmg..

Cause if u did play with that avatar u wont find it to be a waste. Its for good for PVE if u match it with right build of course.
Extra armor plus speed its always welcome... AoL is better for pvp then for pve
I usually use balthazar for pve and lyssa for pvp, but like i said before its just a question of playstyle and everyone has theirs

If u want more damage (wich u dont actually need cause scyhte damage is already high) u can always use the kurzick/luxon derv skill. Its not mutch compared to lyssa in damage but for lyssa foes have to use skills wich in pve doesnt occur much.

I actually never liked Lyssa because if I get interrupted while recasting Lyssa, I get negative energy, and the quicker skill activation in HM makes it harder to pull off the bonus damage. I also don't know why anyone would use AoL over AoG since energy management isn't that hard and you get +18 (bonus: life steal) on every single swing.

I still use Wounding Strike since I ran Discord when I vanquished.

EDIT: I also think that Balthazar is a wasted slot. Holy damage? Already done with AoHM. Increase armor? Great Dwarf Armor or Conviction. IMS? Useless.

I like lyssa alot and i use it for pvp but for pve balthazar just completes my build. I supose it all comes down to that. Each build will have more affinity with a certain skill.

2 slots that u will use to make up to that

Im just saying in my build balthazar works great and kept me alive many times where there were certain wipe situations. U wont find speed useless if u have to run not to get wiped or to run cause of the survivor title or whatever. Still balthazar beats grenth. + 18 hp? i can get that more than that for every enchant i have and besides mystic regeneration works better than that, u also have victorius sweep, twin moon...etc. but if u want a healing avatar dwayna is better than grenth for sure

You also need two slots (Balthazar and EA) if you want to keep the avatar up and running all the time. Besides, using GDA, AoHM and a couple of enchantments + windwalker insignias gives you more than enough armor. If you really want to use an avatar, it's better to use AoD of AoM or AoG or whatever, depending on the situation. Windwalker + enchantments gives you bonus armor, AoHM holy damage (if you need it) and you can use Drunken Master or something to get IMS.. plus you get all the benefits of that certain avatar. So it's not really worth an elite slot, in my opinion. Although I must admit using it when I first played a dervish (I thought it was so cool to sprint around like a heavy-armored nasty-looking beast

I just want to clear up a misunderstanding here. The life stealing isn't for healing, it's armor ignoring damage and can be up to +23 damage per attack. This is huge, considering it can be coupled with SoH for another +22~ damage. So you're doing +45 damage just for swinging your scythe, not even activating an attack skill.
